Welcome New Zealanders LAWRENCE ARABIA to Oregon in style at Mississippi Studios this December. Lawrence Arabia is the pseudonym of James Milne, a multi-instrumentalist who has previously been in groups such as The Brunettes and The Reduction Agents, as well as toured as a member of Okkervil River and alongside Feist. Lawrence Arabia recently released their third album, The Sparrow, which has strong traces of the witty pop songwriting that defined the first two Arabia albums, and proves to be smart, tightly executed psychedelic pop music that is full of substance without compromising on the joy.
